Professor Lloyd is arguably the least inspiring teacher I have ever had in my life. She is condescending without offering real insight on how to fix your mistakes. Unfortunately this class will make students despise the subject for a semester. The only time I smiled in class was when she joked about being ready for the end of the year

Yeah, her class is hard work and you will have a lot of homework, but overall she is a really good teacher who is always willing and available to help and give feedback. People here are giving her really harsh reviews, but the only real complaint I have to all the homework. If you take her, don't do hybrid, it's a lot more work than you'd expect.

Lot's of harsh reviews for this teacher; however, I had a great experience. The many papers was a lot of work, but I was made into a better Writer because of it. She gives great feedback outside of class and wants her students to succeed. If you put in the effort and time you'll do fine.

Very tough grader, but I managed to make A's and B's on the main papers. Listen to the feedback and follow the rubric and it's really not as bad as everyone makes it seem, just a lot of work.

I hated every moment of that class, the lectures were boring, the homework was tedious. She practically begged us to go to office hours even though whenever I went she practically insulted my intelligence. The hardest grader I have ever experienced. Rumor has it that she hasn't given out an A on a paper in 4 years. TAKE ANOTHER PROFESSOR

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. I took her online section and she is impossible. She requests that you go to her office hours if you're struggling, but when you get there is not helpful, and seems to enjoy making you feel incompetent. She will tear your paper into pieces over concepts you didn't even know existed. Seriously, find a different teacher.

Wanda Lloyd was tough. HOWEVER, go into her office hours after your first paper is torn to bits, ask her precise and useful questions and she will give you GOLDEN advice. As much as I loathed the work load in this class I was made the better for it! Thanks to her I went from writing C-B- papers to B+A+ papers in every class I've had since.

Lloyd is an extremely harsh grader, and it is pretty much essential to go to her office hours. When you talk to her you are going to feel stupid. That being said, even though this class was extremely difficult, I learned a lot and my academic writing has improved a ton. Just know it's going to be hard, and the hybrid model requires time management

Overall Mrs. Lloyd is an alright teacher, but she is an extremely harsh grader and expects too much from her students. The best way to get a good grade in this class is to meet with her personally every time you have an assignment due. I was able to make a decent grade in the class, but if I could go back, I would've chosen a different professor.

You will receive a total of 5 grades throughout the semester. So bombing one will make the entire semester tough. The class is set up in a way that is helpful, but will kill you. You literally have something due every night, and then she is a hard grader. I don't think it's possible to get an A on a paper unless you sit with her at office hours.

Wanda Lloyd was the most rude and abrasive teacher I have ever had. She constantly is insulting the intelligence of her students to the point of frustration. She insists that you visit her for office hours, which is fine on its own, but takes it personally if you choose not to! It's optional! I recommend taking anyone else for ENG101 or any English

She's a very helpful teacher if you're willing to meet with her outside of class. Provides great feedback. MUST read directions on Moodle. I scored a 690 SAT for writing and ended up with a B+ in her class. Overall, solid teacher.

I really liked her! She's a tough teacher, but she's fair and she was willing to meet with me to help me out with anything I needed. I ended up getting an A- in the class. As long as you actually do your work and ask for help when needed, you'll be fine.
