This guy is awesome. He goes off on the most entertaining tangents and is really nice/funny! The class is interesting and super friendly to non-science majors. Best way to fulfill your lab requirement.

Prof is great because he knows its only a 1 credit lab and assigns/grades accordingly. Watched planetarium shows and wrote reviews about them, thats it. Just go to class, write the papers and you will get an A, its as simple as that.

This class is a joke. The labs are really easy since he pretty much gives you the answers. We only met like 6 times the entire semester and he decided not to even give the scheduled exams since our attendance was "good." Easy "A". Take this class if you need to fulfill you gened lab req. The class is actually pretty interesting too!

This class is so easy. Do not waste money on the textbook, you will not use it. One test that is easy and a group presentation. He is a nice guy, but also very corny. Attendence is mandatory, but all the points help your grade in the end. Take him!

Not a bad class at all. One test which wasn't too hard, attendance policy but that's because it's an 8 week class...One easy project and one "student teaching" assignment which was pretty easy too. Some people seemed kinda bored but I thought it was interesting...He's a nice guy and he wants you to do well. Would take a class with him again :)

Alexander is a pretty good guy. He's a dork, and has some cheesy jokes, but he really has a passion for Astronomy and it really comes through in his class. Don't expect an A to be given to you, you may have to go to class...but If you're interested and pay attention an A is definately in your grasp.

From yo-yos to bad jokes, Alexander is a hoot. His classes mostly consist of random ramblings. He is funny & does answer basically any, ANY question you ask him. Provides study guides & focuses on the main points & fun, practical info without going in to the tedious detail & physics math related problems too much. Overall good class & professor.
