Sadly, Dr. C is now retired. He was wonderful second quarter, I wish I would've taken him all year. He had practice tests/quizzes from the past 7 year, and if you did them all, you'd do great. Plus, if you did bad on a quiz, he'd ask you to come see him, then guide you through the problems. He said the funniest things and was just too adorable!

good guy wants to help you and wants you to pass the class but he is very hard to understand alot of the time and has a odd teaching style sometimes his logic makes no sence at all. If you can understand him then you will be fine if not drop soon as you can it does not get easyer. Overall grate guy loves to help but very hard

Dr. C is prolly the coolest professor at ONU. Took him for 171, 2, and 3, and I would take him for o-chem, too, if he taught it. Explains everything very well, and you can't help but laugh at some of the stuff he says. Overall great guy. He's got sweet chem skillz.

Dr. C is the best! His accent is awesome, and he says some pretty funny stuff. A little unclear during lecture at times, but is always willing to give extra help. Very easy class if you know anything about chemistry. Dr. C is a chemistry god!! Definitely taking him again.

The courses start out easy if you have previous knowledge, but go down hill fast. He does not explain the material well and his quizzes/exams become increasingly difficult from one year to the next. It is NOT unusual for 2/3 of the class to FLUNK a quiz, leaving just 10% of the class in the A/B range. He's hard to avoid, but stay away if possible.

I would not recommend taking Dr. C if you have other options. The class is not exceedingly difficult, especially with the aid of his past quizes, but I felt like I got very little out of lecture. I had a difficult time taking good notes, and halfway through the quarter found my teme was better spent staying home and studying the book. GO DR BATES!
