Fairly easy, the topic can be difficult if you have no previous knowledge about Russian history. Reading what is on the board can be a nightmare. Books are dense but can save your grade. He is hilariously enthusiastic about this subject though. A handful of essay tests and fill in the blank quizzes and a research paper. Write with detail!

Super nice professor that is so knowledable about history. He is extremely scatter brainedd and notes can be hard to follow/class feels long. However, he only assings 2 essays, a midterm, and a final (where topic questions are given). Pretty eaaasy grader as well

Comment:

Best history professor to choose for Themes. He writes main points on the board for notes so just pay attention to him and write down what he says, not as bad as it sounds though he makes it extremely interesting and sometimes funny. No tests other than mid-term and final. Two easy papers. Don't need to do the reading except French Revolution book.

Prof B is the greatest teacher i've ever had!!! He is so nice and friendly and always manages to brighten my day. He is the reason i switched majors from film to history!! take him any chance you get, i promise you won't regret it!!!!

LOVES history. the guy is brilliant... talks for 75 minutes straight without looking at notes rambling off from memory. 2 essays, plus 1 essay exam, essay midterm, and essay final. he tells you what will be on all of them. not a difficult class.

Very passionate and engaging; his lectures fly by. You can tell he's been doing this for many years, as he barely needs to refer to notes, and doesn't have to use Powerpoint (thank GOD). He's wasted on bored, antsy freshmen, but the right student can come out of there with a profound understanding of the subject matter.

Very friendly guy, passionate about history. However, if you took AP Euro, his class will bore you to death because you know most of the material already. Doesn't give too much work, we had two essays about a book that I didn't read, A on both, a midterm and final essay. He's a good teacher though and I'm glad he has a passion for history.

Crazy professor, you will never be able to read his notes on the board, so pay attention during the lectures. There is no need to read the book, and the amount of class work is minimal.
