Lectures are very long and they don't match the text. Don't make us buy a book we don't need. Just teach the course from your own notes then. Assignments can be a little unclear. Grading criteria is a little unclear. He gives plenty of time to get assignments done.

What I liked most of all is that he laid out for you in a very specific manner different ways to get through the materials. He acknowledges that you may not want to sit through a boring lecture so he gives you a few alternatives of how to get through the material. Once you get your bearing of which approach is for you I found the class easy

I would encourage people to read the prior comments, coupled with mine. Bosworth is a knowledge individual but his level of clarity, vagueness & disorganization make this class very challenging. I would highly avoid taking Fin 630 with him and transfer those credits in from a different college. I am an A student and find him very tough to follow.

Great guy, but real scatter brained. Definitely a real smart dude and he knew what he was talking about but it was tough to pay attention. Tests were pretty straight forward. If you pay attention it should not be a hard class.

yes bosworth is scattered but he does know what hes talking about. i hardly listened but did the weekly trading game logs(which were easy) and study guides which were similar to the tests so you should be able to pass easily. If you have questions hes willing to help. He makes his own lectures which i found to be much better than reading a textbook

He is terrible. I had him for both undergrad and grad. He is not a bad guy but he is so scatter brained and unorganized in his presentation of material that he makes the course far more difficult than it needs to be. He will help you if you go to him but the amount of info he gives you will not leave much time to reach out to him. Avoid if you can!

I think he wants students to do well but his teaching style and overall poor class preparation get in the way. If you read everything he posts and do all his assigned work you can do well in his class but I doubt you'll actually learn anything.

Prof. Bosworth is in fact the most difficult professors to learn, work with, and listen too in all my years of education and this is my second year of my MBA. If you do not understand his material you WILL NOT PASS HIS EXAMS. So because this individual is so old and out of sync with the rest of the world, normal comprehension with him is impossible

biggest idiot ive ever met. i cant describe how big of a waste his classes are because nobody learns anything. he cant ever seem to figure out his own examples. maybe the guy should prepare for class. needs to retire because he cant relate to anything. anybody who says he is smart is wrong. smart people dont teach classes by talking in circles.

The worst professor i have ever had. This guy will literally do a problem on the board for 30 mins and then he will realize he is completely doing it wrong and start over. This happened ALL the time. Class is a complete waste of time. hes SOO ARROGANT. The man should not be teaching. Impossible to have a normal conversation with the guy.

terrible class, He just makes up his own problems as he goes along. He has half of the solutions in his lectures done wrong. Talks about stories from the past and cannot remember and think clearly about present situations he has some kind of deficit. Also he is very unfair to students and picks favorites.

His lectures are WAY longer than they need to be because of his tangents. I didn't find the homework to be very relevant to the lectures (because the lectures were useless/so boring), so I wound up teaching myself most of the time. I wouldn't recommend if you can take it with another professor, but in the MBA program I think that's impossible.

Best teacher at WNEC right now. Knows more than anyone about his subject. The class is difficult, but if you have common sense you can figure out what he is talking about. If you go to class you will pass.. and if you dont, you can still pass because he puts everything you need to know on the web.
