I'm only a couple weeks into my first semester, taking Basic Psychology, but this professor is easily my least favorite. He has a tendency to start on a subject, but then go off on several tangents and unrelated rants. For example it took him three days worth of class to go over his introduction to the class which consisted of five points.

If you're going to take this class, be prepared to read ALOT. He assigns 3-4 chapters at a time, and if you don't read, you won't pass. PSY-101 was supposed to be easy, but with so much information to study I ended up spending sooo much time cramming all the chapters. If you don't have to, don't take him.

If you don't tell him prior to starting class you are leaving early he will chase you down the hall to figure out why you are leaving and where you are going. If you ask him to repeat something he gives you an attitude.

This professor was by far the worst professor I ever had. He doesn't answer emails and he just gives the assignments. 17 chapters for a 12 week online course, also the test are 30 minutes for 30 questions which is a minute a question. It seem like he is setting you up to fail. I recommend not to use this professor.

This class just gave me stress over stress. You basically read a ton and take a test that you only have 30 minutes for 30 questions. I feel like it's a setup for failure.

This class is downright ridiculous. The fact that you only have 30mins to do a 30 question quiz is limiting and not very helpful.

Dr. Curtis was very lecture heavy. He would sit in the front of the class and just talk without writing anything on the board or read from the book, which made it very hard to pay attention. You have to read on your own to be able to pass the class.

I like Prof Curtis' way of doing Psych online. You pretty much read, study, use supplemental material and take tests. The timeline & the amount of effort is up to you. You really get out what you put in. If you are a structured person on your own and don't like to be micromanaged take this, if you want an active, week by week structured prof don't

Worst professor ever. He mumbles when he talks, his tests suck, and he does not care if you ask for help. He doesn't even bother with online access so don't bother. He sets the class up so that he doesn't have to do any work whatsoever. Don't take this class, I passed with a B but I basically had no social life because of dr. Curtis psych 101 class

I took Prof. Curtis "Abnoral Psych" online. His instructions were very clear. You read 15 chapters and take 15 tests. Your lowest test grade is dropped. That's it. No papers, no assignments. He does offer videos and case studies that support the chapter readings. He gets back to you in a couple hours with any emails you send him.

Took psych 101 online with Curtis. I basically had to teach myself an entire textbook and take a test after every chapter. It was a lot of work, but it was not difficult at all. From my experience and from what I've heard about his classes on campus, its all book work. Take notes and highlight! Easy class if you concentrate

He will give you 15 tests and your final grade is based on 1415 tests. He will drop the lowest test score. What makes it worst is those tests are due the day the semester ends, which makes you procrastinate. YOU MUST READ TO PASS TEST. Just read 2 chapters a week and highlight statistical information. It will be on quiz questions.

This professor is definitely an acquired taste. By the end of his class I had literally over a thousand note cards. However he is a nice guy, just get ready to read, because his test is situations based off of the stuff in the book. If you don't want to read, back away slowly and drop the class!

Attendance is very important to this professor. His syllabus stated that you lose a letter grade per extra day missed apart from the 4 you are allowed to miss. I missed 5 classes, he dropped me from the class. Another thing is that he will start class from the minute he gets there to the minute the class ends. Also you have to read the book!

Worst teacher ever. Do not take his class. He doesn't teach he just gives you the book for you to learn yourself. He gets paid to do nothing. He never logs on to check your work either or your emails to him. Do yourself a favor pick a different teacher. He sucks!

If you actually do the reading and make your own study guides you'll do well. Not an easy class but loved it. Your only grades are tests and they're upwards of 70 questions. Challenging but rewarding. This is not a class for laziness.

Horrible class. He doesn't let us know what is going to be on the test. The tests are hard and confusing. Don't take this class if you are expecting to get an A.
