"The" professor wolf was the grestest professor I ever had. I learned more in his classes then I have anywhere else. He is the smartest man I know when it comes to anything art. If you got an A in class it was definitely a true A. He is a real gem and Millersville University should erect a statue in his honor!! Thank you professor wolf!!

Art History, The 20th Century. Mr. Wolf (as he wishes to be called) was one of my most memorable classes I took at MU. Night class, basically 3 hours. This man is awesome. He knows every detail of these artists lives. He is a gigantic wealth of knowledge. Take notes! I can't stress this enough. I tried very hard and got a B+ I was proud of. Cheers

After taking THEO 1001, I thought that PHIL was going to be about as boring. Fortunately, it wasn't. Wolf is one of those teachers that can make PHIL a bit more entertaining. As you would expect, most of this class is doing readings (about one due every class). There's a pop quiz once a week. He makes sure the readings aren't too long.

Not a helpful or encouraging professor AT ALL. Didn't make it seem he wanted to be there yet let alone help a student when in trouble. Not friendly.

This class is very hard but so interesting. You have to have an interest in art/art history to sit there and listen to Mr. Wolf talk. He is an adorable professor, and he knows all. You have to study your notes front and back and know all the pieces of art for slide identification on the test. If you get an A you truly deserve it.

This professor inspired me to become an Art Education major. His in depth knowledge of art history is unparalleled. He gives you time to write his every word down, so DO IT! Don't just summarize the notes if you want an A on the exams. A few questions on the exams were from the book but mostly from his immense knowledge of art. Such an inspiration.

Hand-written essay exams are SO hardâ€"also an outdated form of assessment. That said, if you're an art major, I will have my notes for the rest of my days. By my third class with him, I knew my GPA would take a hit, but having access to his level of expertise is rare and well worth the effort.

Really hard. If you don't ask for help he won't give it. You need the books for the slide identificaions on the 3 tests he gives. A LOT of note taking and he goes fast, so if you miss a day good luck. If you seek help he will give it. If the class doesn't answer his questions be prepared to miss information because he will skip it.

Regardless of your interest or understanding prior to the class, you will become a well-informed expert in whatever this man teaches. He won't be teaching for much longer. So, if you consider yourself an artist, or prospective educator, you have to take Wolf's class. Your grade probably won't raise your GPA, but he offers what you can't find elsewh

Srvy Art Hist 1:Pre to c 1400. I thought it would be a boring class but he makes it very interesting. Hes extremely passionate and teaches it all like its a story. Confused? He loves being asked questions. Exams are on the harder side, 15-20 picture questions, around 80 multiple choice. Read over notes and review pics. 3 exams=only grades in class

Attend his lectures, and write down EVERY WORD HE SAYS. EVERYTHING. Mid-term and Final are as follows. Slide ID and essay. The essays have multiple parts (1a, 1b, 1c or 2a, 2b, 2c)and are to be written in the "blue books" provided by him. Do not upset him, he is dedicated to his job.

So awesome and knowledgeable but not an easy class in the slightest. Probably have wrist damage from all the notes. Literally need to write everything he says and know the text "frontwards, backwards, and upside down". Make flash cards and read everything twice you will ace it.

By far THE BEST art history teacher I've had. He is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and comprehensible. I love listening to his lectures and taking notes about the information he gives. His courses are NOT to be taken lightly as his tests are HARD. Not an easy grader, but makes the class interesting. Tests = slide identification and an essay question.

One of the best professors I've had. Incredibly challenging and has the highest expectations. I've gotten A's on all of his tests only because I studied an average of 15-20 hours on each. If you can't memorize dates, places, people, and objects with precision don't bother taking this class.
