Dr. McNeal is an amazing professor. He will do everything and anything for a student that communicates with him. He is extremely compassionate. I have, on several occasions, seen him outright refuse to give exams to students if they had other things such as exams or life events going on at the same time. He only wants you to succeed.

You know that teacher from High School who you could get an 'A' from even if the most you did in class was sleep? That's Dr. McNeil. Don't get me wrong, he's an incredibly genuine, kind professor and one I hope to have the pleasure of having again but I would hardly call his class challenging. If you want an easy 'A', take him. Nearly no homework.

Dr. McNeil was my favorite prof. at NWU. Bottom line, if you go to class and take notes, you will do fine in the course. His lectures are fun and interesting. The best thing about him is that he was a practicing Clinical Psychologist. For me it is better to learn from someone who has lived it, seen it, touched it, rather than someone who read about
