6 projects,requires purchase of a lot of materials. Expects you to put effort into the class and will help you if you dont get the results you want. A somewhat harsh grader, but allows you to resubmit assignments for a higher grade. A very sweet person lets you out of class early on most days. Very talkative and nice teacher. Would highly recommend

She's an incredibly sweet individual. If you try your darnedest she'll give you props. DO ask her for help, she'll help you out a ton! She is also full of ideas so ask her if you're stuck on a project. Overall, the class wasn't hard. She was laid back. Be prepared for her crazy stories.

She expects a lot for non-art majors, so if ur not experienced at all with painting, sketching, collage etc. be prepared, you don't really ease into it. Seemed like people who took art classes before in highschool were doing a lot better. She is aproachable for help. Got a C in this 102 class, my very first C in 4 years of college, so fair warning.

Jane is AWESOME. Very funny and crazzzzzzzzy which is a good thing. You have to be a little crazy to teach art. But she is very helpful and will work one on one for in-class projects. She also helped me advancing my outside art career.

Jane is a really sweet lady, but her expectations for us are really really high. To the point of being outrageous. I mean it'd be great if we could all make huge assemblage sculptures for her, but we don't have the time, or materials to do that without having to spend a lot of money.

Jane is hilarious! I would def recommend her! She is so sweet and kind and she obviously loves what she does- and it shows through her teaching. I personally LOVE that she talks as much as she does- it makes the class more relaxed and it shows how friendly and sociable she is :)

Stereotypical art teacher.. kind of quirky and sometimes out there, but super sweet and a fun teacher. She made 3D art pretty enjoyable and relatively easy. Only used the textbook once.. don't buy it, try and borrow it from a friend. Overall a good teacher, I def recommend her.
