Excellent professor. Crystal clear lectures. Tests and essays are thought-provoking but manageable if you take notes in class. Takes personal interest in the well-being of her students. One of the best professors at Trinity.

Hard topic to teach but good class overall. Nadel-Klein taught it well, especially considering it was her first time teaching the course. She is very helpful outside of the classroom, although she has her own life that keeps her pretty busy. She does her best to make time for her students. Keep up on reading for class discussion!

Loved the class. Always lead class discussions in a productive, constructive manner. Energetic about what she's teaching. Slow grader though--couldn't gauge how I was doing all semester till I got my grade. Got an A though. Very manageable with a bit of thought and keeping up with the readings, which are rather interesting. Now she's my adviser lol

She's very sweet, extremely engaging, and very approachable -- one of my all-time favorite professors. The material and her ability to incite discourse on it are invigorating, although discussion does tend to lapse into "therapy sessions" rather than remaining in academia.

I really enjoyed the class discussions. She made sure class was engaging and covered topics that were both controversial and important to comprehend. I would recommend a course with her in a second!!!

As long as you do the reading the class is great. It's very much based on discussion even though there were 30 students when I took it. Just be sure to speak up with your opinion and know the big concepts for the exam/essays.

The worst class. The readings are horrible. The tests aren't that hard, but it is a complete waste of a class.
