Comment:
I thought Qin was a very sweet woman. Had relevant/more challenging examples which actually showed up on quizzes/exam! I felt like she actually wanted us to succeed. Best out of all 3 physics professors I had in 1080.

Qin is such a sweet and under-rated prof. Sure, her lectures were fairly dull. However, her notes are fantastic. I saw her multiple times for help during the semester, and she cleared things up super easily each time. Nicest lady, really knows her stuff, and if you're struggling, I definitely recommend her office hours.

Very unclear explainations. When asked a question, would answer something entirely unrelated. Overall made me more confused than I was to start. (once wrote an equation wrong an entire lecture) I started going to Williams lectures and learned infinitely more

Terrible prof. You will leave class confused it is inevitable. However it is completely unnecessary to attend this class. The textbook is awesome. Do the stay guide and read the text and you will go into the exam with 100%.

horrible prof. I couldnt stand to attend class because it was so unclear, boring, and slow. I did very well because she's easy and I used the text a lot.

Terrible prof. Makes absolutely zero sense and has horrid lecture notes. You will have a better time using another profs notes and the textbook.

She's really nice and goes slow. Doesn't explain some concepts well and she unfortunately doesn't prepare you in class well enough for the actual work needed for the class.

Do NOT take her class. You will be bored to death during lecture and she is very hard to understand. I found that I had to teach myself the material, because her lectures weren't helpful at all. She also is terrible at answering questions.

Approachable, helpful, uses great analogies to get her point across and very open to constructive criticism. I wish every prof was this receptive, and I wish people would show her a little more respect. Any language barrier is hardly an issue if you just take a moment sometimes to rephrase your question.

Dont go to class, its easier to use the textbook and learn on your own. Midterm is really straight forward, then she mixes it up on the final. Class is boring and its hard to understand what she means, and its hard for her to understand what you are saying.

WORST TEACHER IN THE WORLD... I had to re-learn quantum mechanics in order to understand ANYTHING from the follow up courses... FOR ANYONE TAKING THIS COURSE: dont... try to skip it and find a new teacher... You will be lost forever.

Wonderfull proff! Great printed notes, and easy to follow...in my opinion one of the best in the department. I wish I could have her teaching all of my classes!!! Explains things so well that even quantum seems like the easiest thing when she teaches it.

Very willing to help and wants to make sure everybody understands. However, a little hard to follow. Half the time things are too far over our heads for us to ask questions.

She really does make an effort to try and teach us, but she goes right over our heads every time. I don't even think it's her language skills- I think she might hover on a different plane of consciousness or something.

horrid prof. everything i've learnt from that class has been either from the text book(only slightly better than hers), or another profs notes. completely out of touch with what students need help with. and don't even think of trying to ask a question.
