The worst professor ever in UC Santa Cruz. He was very unfriendly. Don't say hi to him, he'll start to hate you. He's explanation were unclear. I wonder if he still were the same outfit everyday, orange sweater and rip jeans...

One of the worst teachers I have ever had. He is completely unclear, and writes ridiculous tests. He is hard to hear in lectures and is extremely stubborn and difficult. In office hrs he is condesending and rude. Don't take a class with him if you can avoid it.

Not clear. Moves too quickly on difficult subjects. Needs to pay more attention to the reaction of students when teaching. If he did, he would see that they are quite confused most of the time and that he needs to find a new way of explaining some things.

Very challenging, but if you do what he says you will get an A. You must put the work in for this class. Sit near the front because he likes to write small and he doesn't like using mics. Treat him respectfully and he'll return the favor.

Engrish speaking professor who is a real ****. He doesn't like anyone and gets annoyed if you need help. I don't know why UCSC hires professors like him they can hire other professors who are also smart and actually know how to teach.

Very good clear teacher, not unapproachable, hard tests, but fair, just keep in mind that you should memorize all equations, no cheat sheets on the test...I was scared of the reviews on this site and was surprised that he wasn't that bad.

If you can avoid taking a class with this man, I highly recommend you do so. He's a horrible teacher, he doesn't let you know midterm scores in a timely manner (i.e. before the withdrawal deadline), tests are hard, and he's very unapproachable.

The homework questions were hard, and the tests were moderate, a little easier than the homework. Not very approachable but if you can get around it, so can he. Oh and he doesn't believe in solutions for practice midterms. TA does most of the work.

Honestly, I got a better grade in 11B than 11A because i just stopped going to class the second time around. He seriously confused me more when I went to class the first quarter than the actual material did.If you have him for math...teach yourself(nojoke
