He is very knowledgeable about macro and really loves the stuff. He is great at teaching it. Attendance is not mandatory but if you want to pass I'd suggest going every time. Its the only way to get EC too.

Very difficult class, however that is explained going into it. Everything given is doable if you put the effort into it. Great way to experience what grad school is like. Lee is a good teacher and is enthusiastic. Not for the faint of heart. Earned an A but had to work for it.

If you've already got a background in ECON, this class is pretty easy. If you really try hard to pay attention to him, he makes sense. He sometimes goes really fast and is all over the place, but he's really passionate about it. i'd reccommend this teacher for ECON

This is an extremely intense and difficult class but Dr. Lee does let you know that from the start. His intention is basically to give you a taste of what you'll see in grad school. His tests are very challenging; he doesn't want you just regurgitating what you've learned but wants to see how well you can apply it. Interesting sense of humor too.

JJ is a really good teacher. His lectures are really thorough and the website is helpful if you actually use it. He wants everyone to be an Econ major and is in love with being healthy and the show Friends. Attendance is not mandatory but that's when he'll tell you about extra credit so if you don't go, you wont know about it. I RECOMMEND JJ

dont listen to the guy below the guy below me. it is not an easy course and that guy is the only one that finds it easy. jj lee has a thick accent but he is funny and has many Friends references. if you ask him a question about something you don't understand, don't expect a good answer.

I've really enjoyed JJ Lee's class. Actually I've never done as well in college, as I have in his class. Tests are taken straight from study guides and worksheets. Print his slides out each week . His stories are off topic and hilarious. He does have a thick accent but it isn't hard to understand. His favorite NFL Player is Ray Rewis lol.

Attendance is not mandatory, but it's probably a good idea to go, no matter how frustrating the class is. I wouldn't really recommend the class, however, it's not worth it. It would have been nice if someone had emailed me BEFORE I got to the first class and told me that he was going to teach it like we were in grad school.. But, oh well. :)

Very nice teacher and very smart. Very important to show up and take notes because if you miss a day, you miss A LOT of information. A lot of extra credit opportunities which was very helpful. Tests are pretty hard so you need to study for them. He's a funny teacher and I would recommend him to anyone

J.J. loves to relate everything to the show "Friends"...he will break out into a story about the show in the middle of lecture. He's an amusing little man who will help u if you need it. Material is boring, but go to class it helps. The exams are MC, but they aren't easy. Read the chapters cause the questions are worded weird...easy B.

I thought I knew the material, but my grade was not what I wanted. He's actually pretty goofy and wants everyone to do well. He gives extra credit to help you, but it didn't help that much. Take him cause he's probably one of the best.

good class cuz he explains everything really well. however, the tests are hard: multiple choice and free response which really make u think. he is kinda funny when he tells jokes. he is not very recpetive to helping u if u need to miss class or want to go over a test, etc. i feel like i understand the material, but my grade doesnt reflect that!
