PSCI 291 is one of the most interesting classes I've taken at X and Grenier is a great prof. He is very smart, funny and extremely approachable. The final paper was very interesting and had many topics to choose from. One of the best poli sci profs at X. It also doesn't have a text book, so you should go to class.

Grenier is a fantastic professor who is passionate about what he is teaching. He is a progressive French Canadian (probably why people think he is hard to understand). I have taken Grenier for various classes at various levels and he is stimulating and easy to build a repot with. Very approachable and a highly intelligent man

He seems to vary on how hard he marks. When I had him his midterm average was in the 60s and he marked the papers extremely hard. I had a friend that took his class the year before and sad everybody had great grades. 291 is an interesting course so take it if you don't only care about your grade

Grenier is truly the best. If you go to class you'd be hard pressed not to do well on the midterms/exams. Doesn't hurt that he's a babe.

HATED HIS TEACHING. His notes were on powerpoints but they were super vague and he didn't clarify what he was going to focus on when it came to the exams. He rambles and goes way off topic (making it confusing to know what to focus on)

He was funny, but had boring lectures! I found his exams hard, and he didn't really clarify what was on the exams. He was a tough marker when it came to the paper!

Dr. Grenier is a pretty good professor. Political Science is not one of my strong subjects and I finished with a decent mark. There was no textbook to buy, only online readings which was awesome. He is very nice and passionate about his job. Overall good prof!

Super easy marker, and if you take the time to meet and get to know him a great person. Gives great feedback, lectures are a bit dull but he used all internet sources which saved me money. His exams are usually 3-4 paragraphs and are extremely easy to study for. Easily my favourite prof at X

The lectures were textbook-based. In class he did not seem to care for first-year students and did not show up for several classes without prior announcement of class cancellation. Grenier is a hard marker. But if you are a poli sci major, you have to take Into anyway.

While Dr. Grenier had his funny moments, class was often a bit of a drag. His notes, that he sends to everyone in the class, cover everything that you need to know for exams and midterms. It was frustrating for those who did the readings, as it all seemed for naught. Other than that, he's an all right guy.

My fav prof first year, and the reason I want to major in poli sci. He's not afraid to give really good marks for excellet work (I got 100 on my first paper with him), but will give low marks if you don't do the work. Do the readings!! Wish I could take him, this year.

Makes boring stuff less boring, goes off on a tangent at least once per class. French accent is tough at first but gets easier to understand later on. TONS of readings

The man is simply amazing. He made polisci fascinating, and he is one of the reasons I am now majoring in it! Every class is interesting, and you actually look forward to his lessons. Has some really cheesy jokes, but it keeps the class light hearted. You will do well if you do the reading and study, and listen. Intriquing essay topics.
