He's a scholar in the field of economics, well beyond the scope of this course, and it shows. His lectures were engaging, and lots class discussion on various topics which is what I loved most. If you're one to sit in the corner and keep quiet, expect to be called out in class to answer a question. It may seem annoying, but he wants participation.

He assumes students know everything beforehand, which isn't the case. He has a hard time understanding that even though he is very smart, his students are there to learn and don't know most of the material yet. He is eager to teach and enthusiastic, but he is unclear. I had a hard time learning in class and used the textbook for the most part.

I had him for ECON 3100 too and I absolutely love the enthusiasm he brings to the course. One of the few professors who KNOW how to teach. He's extremely helpful and quite lenient with deadlines and giving extensions if that's what the majority of the class wants. Overall, an awesome professor. Loved taking Econ with him.

He is a fair marker. His lectures can be confusing as sometimes he doens't remember where we left off. He assumes that we know certain things while teaching which can be frustrating. When you ask him questions sometimes he gets mad.

I didn't enjoy his class. He's a smart person, but I don't think I learned much from him at all. He isn't that clear with his explanations because he assumes that his students already know everything (which we don't) and when we ask questions, he can get frustrated.
