Zayd is no longer at BU (he's taking classes at Columbia, got married and had a baby, and his wife is an author now) but he's considering coming back next year. He's a close friend of mine :). He is SO helpful and clear (and hot, who am I kidding) and the readings are GREAT. Such a cool class, take WR political drama if you get the chance.

My contribution probably doesn't matter since he left for New York, but Zayd was a great professor. He took interest in his students and was very helpful. I actually felt like he respected us. A few female students drooled over him too. Also, watch "The Weather Underground."

he was incredibly interesting, very engaging in conversations. a very hip modern teacher but also very educated and intelligent. young, and even as a male in the class i must say he was strikingly good-looking. class was enjoyable, but challenging.
