Super tough course, though helpful. The professor gives good grades to everyone after curving(minimumC-, AVGB+) though the raw score of final is extremely low.

Ended up being a very hard course. Assignments were on the whole quite easy, but tests were very difficult focusing on seemingly random facts. He lets you have a bunch of cheat sheets for the final, but it is still difficult requiring a very throughout knowledge of all of the codecs discussed in the notes. Most would be best off avoiding this class

He assumes everybody in the class is a multimedia genius, given how hard this area is.He usually only spend couple of mins on explaining a complex algorithm orally without any hand written on the board.Those things are not easy for anyone who has never touched this area.How can this course be an introduction,with being taught by this guy?Cmon SFU!!

I got A- for ENSC 424, which is also the Multimedia course. However,I am still not able to follow how this guy teach.His assignments have nothing to do with the materials he would like to test.His exams keep focusing on useless, tiny things from the book.Even with prior experience in this area,I still complain about the way he teaches this course

He is a nice person. BUT he does not know how to teach at all!! lectures are extremely unclear,jumps from here to there,strong accent, the worst one I've seen in SFU. Assignments are very difficult!For suitable for graduate students, not for undergrads.Do yourself a favor and avoid him.
