Comment:

Mr. Crew is a great math educator. He is very patient whenever a student ask a question during and/or after class. Just like any class, if you do your homework and prepare for the test; you will pass. If you struggle with math, I do not recommend taking him over the summer; unless you are willing to work for it.

He rushes students with lecture by exposing students to new material in a short time period. He shows new material days before exam day. He uses conventional math to make himself feel good and worthy. This indicates that hes a old guy that never accomplished meaningful work. Just bc u can take double derivative very fast doesnt mean ur smart.

Amazing teacher. As any math class you have to put some work to get an A. Mrs. Crew is very approachable, caring and loves math. The notes on the board are very clear and organized. Loves his students and will help you if you're struggling. I wish he spent more time on explaining concepts and less doing the problems and gave more time on tests.

Daryl Crew is one the best and most helpful math teachers I ever had. He's very engaging and as long as you do the study guides and the practice problems, you'll be ready for his tests that are very straight forward with no big surprises. His test problems are very similar to his homework and practice problems. Study guide problemspracticeproblems

The essence of Professor Crew is what it means to be an educator. He is an exceptional lecturer, and his teaching methods do not follow any standards I have yet observed from a college professor. He is one of a kind! If you attend class, truly apply yourself, and remain engaged with the material you will do well in his course, but you will work.

Mr. Crew's teaching style is very easy to flow with. His notes are thorough and he's also super organized and grades quickly. He somehow manages to simplify math in a way that even those who struggle in it have a chance to improve. His tests are doable as long as you review. Make sure to keep up with the practice and you'll likely be fine.

Professor Crew is a really good teacher and is in the math lab almost every day if you need help. I recommend going over the book before attending his lectures. Expect to take a lot of notes in the class. Before every test, he goes over what's going to be on the test so you know exactly what to study for.

Amazing lectures and very helpful, he explains over and over again till you understand which shouldn't take many tries because his explanation is very clear and to the point. Tests are straight forward, no surprises. Study and you'll pass. If you ace all 4 tests, he might give you an option of not taking the final.

I pray he teaches Calc 3. Crew is very clear and lets you know exactly what you'll be facing on your tests. Do your study guides and you will be fine for any exam he throws your way. I aced all midterms (5) except one where I got a B. He will make sure that you understand the concepts if you just ask him for help. Extremely approachable and funny!

It was difficult to keep up with the pace in which he does his examples, and I'm good at math. Teaches how to do the problem, but not "why". High ratings are due to the easier tests he gives than others in the department. Material on tests was straightforward and easier than HWpractice problems. 67.5% is a C, but 89.9% is a B. Quick grader.

He is a really great teacher, has good office hours so you can ask for help if needed. He doesn't give out too much math homework which is great for people with a busy schedule. His grading criteria is clear and to the point, and he's really easy on the eyes. Does he work out? Obviously!!

This teacher is explaining everything thoroughly. His classes are well structured and clear. He answers questions and help a lot with homework, if you don't understand an exercise he either do it with all the class if many are having trouble or on one on one. We have a test every 3 weeks and can drop the lowest score same for the homework.

He's a great teacher, you can tell he really knows his stuff. Hardest thing for me was the pace of the class. We were learning new material the day before the tests, so everything was pretty fast paced. But he's a clear teacher and very understandable.

Solid instructor that tries to make Calculus as pragmatic as possible. Doesn't focus on proofs, but still provides them as course goes along. Tests are pretty straightforwardly based on problems he focuses on during class.
