This professor knows his subject very well. He teaches economics in a way that most students can pick it up. He goes over tricky concepts with multiple examples. Do the work and you will do fine.

Comment:

Dr. Banan was difficult to understand at first - because of his accent. Although it became easier as the class went along. His passion is to get students to understand the basics about economics. Many of the class was apprehensive of it at the beginning of the semester but warmed to the subject by its end.

Highly intelligent. Cares about students' understanding the subject. Verry helpful and available when you need him. You must do all the assigned readings and do so in a timely manner. Likes punctual and responsible students.

Very hard to understand. Have taken 2 classes with him now. I do not like taking his classes but am forced to due to scheduling conflicts.

I agree that he makes the students work hard, and his accent is a little hard to understand, but he is highly intelligent and will work one on one if you are having difficulty. He is a very nice man.

Comment:

Likes to challenge students, but does so in a way that belittles the student. Gives hours of work! Gives rediculous books that a garbage would do better with than the students. Says he is objective, and is definitely not.
