loved her class. nice teacher and straight forward - easy marks with assignments she makes you do and hands in. exams are easy if you do the exercises in the textbook. hands out notes package to you with blanks and teaches from there - very helpful

Does not know how to teach. Not straight forward (expects you to understand everything about business which is impossible that's why we're taking this course in the first place). Class is useless (read notes and PPT instead). Uses made up abbreviations that complicates everything. Exams are tricky. Assignments are easy. GPA killer.

Well, she's the best teacher I ever had in langara and just attend all her classes and study her notes you will get a good mark for this course. I got perfect on my final exam.Everything was from her notes.

the best teacher for me so far. Her exams are okay, sometimes it is hard to understand the question because of complex phrases. She is very helpful - in the class, in her office or by email. I worked a lot for my A, but wouldn't say it was superhard. I don't think textbook is necessary since her notes are very good.

She is a strict teacher. I got A+ in her course. Actually, her exam is harder that other teachers. Sometimes the exam is trick and there are traps in the exam. Also, I can't understand what she wants me to do with the question because her English in the question is tricky especially in final, so I can't get a full mark in the final.

Incredibly boring class. Takes a long time to explain material. But overall quite an easy course. Gives you a notes package/has ppts online which is helpful so you don't have to take your own notes. Grade is pretty much based on midterms and a small portion is assignments. Didn't really listen in class but doing pretty well.

I took this class with Aziz and dropped it. Took it one semester later with Abbe and it was a complete 180. She explains everything thoroughly, using great examples. Talks slow enough for info to sink in. Takes time to find out about you (i.e. find out how you are if your were sick). Full of knowledge of finance. Would take another class with her.

Abbie is extremely clear and helpful! She provides you with a booklet summarizing the chapters and reviews them in class. The booklet provides you all the information you need to know for the midterms plus a practice question or two. She is also a fairly easy marker!
