I have never had a professor exploit students the way she does. She also tells students their grades to others and has no respect for students and thinks she is above everyone. Be careful and aware she is stuck in the 20th century and anything social media related she rejects nd does not make students do internships like other colleges do.

Horrible teacher. She talks down to everyone and is extremely condescending. She loves to hear her self talk just like many of these reviews have said. I wouldn't take this class again if you paid me too. She calls students annoying in front of the entire class. Last time i checked that is unprofessional. NEVER take her at all

Shes unclear, dont follow the syllabus. Dosnt give grades on the papers and the only grade u get before the final is the midterm. U have no idea how ure doing in the class. No matter how many times u turn in your work she finds something. Afterall u learn alot and she is ALWAYS there for students. U cant escape her, u just have to do the best u can

I know a lot of people don't like her, and I'll be the first to admit that she is demanding. But she does it so you are prepared for the fast-paced PR workplace in the future. And although people think she's tough, I can honestly say she is always, always there to help her students if they ask for it. She's not as heartless as people have said here

Professor Dress is very, VERY specific about what she wants in pr papers, and she won't settle for anything less. it can be extremely annoying, but at the end of the day, you will actually learn how to write good quality press materials. she can be rude, but you will learn. she's okay.

I took Professor Dress' PR 1 class, and it wasn't that bad. She gave 6 quizzes (she drops one), a final, plus participation. Some of the quizzes can be difficult due to the odd wording, but chances are no one got it right. I got basically high 70's low 80's, went to class everyday, and pulled off a B. Textbook can sometimes give clearer definition.

I was scared to take her class because of the reviews on here but she was not that bad at all. Im not a PR major but I did really well on all the tests. Show up to class and take notes. There were 5 quizzes and 1 final thats it. She was nice and its clear she knows alot about the field but you will need to read the textbook

This woman is the devil. Not only is she a stuck up know it all, but she discourages her students and puts them down. To say that she is degrading and **** is putting it kindly. She almost did not let half our major graduate because we didnt live up to her ridiculous standards. Who knows why she's still allowed to teach after all of the complaint

Throughout all of my years of Education, never have I come across a teacher who makes it obvious that she has favorites amongst her students. I can only compare it to a mother having a favorite amgonst her children and the siblings being aware. You feel it, and it discourages you from wanting to have a career in Public Relations! I could go on..

She's tough, and not very helpful. She's not as MEAN as people think- but she rubs many the wrong way. If you are a media major, chances are you have to take her for PR1. The first test is not worth much, but you'll almost definetly fail it.

Dress is the worst teacher i had in my life. unless she likes you she will make your live a living nightmare. The women does not give youa straight answer when it comes to questions. every1 that gave her a cute smiley face above obviosuly was 1 of her few select favorites in the class. This women is capable of hating you from the first sec she meets you. She likes to hear herself speak WILL NEVER GIVE YOU A DIRECT ANSWER EVER Turned many people away from the PR prog. Very biast!
