Very nice and caring professor, however course material is hard. You definitely need to study in order to do well. Ask questions and pay attention in class.

He is not very hard to understand and he is a very fair professor, his class wasn't hard but I agree his tests were a challenge. As long as you show you participate and put forth some effort you can secure a B with his extreme curve he uses. He is a very nice man and is always happy and smiling in class making the atmosphere not so dreadful.

I took both is macro, and micro economics class. I took macro online and received a B. I took micro in class, and received a B. I felt like his in class was easier. He is extremely hard to understand, but a very nice guy. Very fair, and curves his class to the extreme if you take it in a classroom instead of online.

Excluding his accent (understand that he is foreign). His lectures have zero pull and is just him just reading off a packet. Be prepared for quizzes, usually out of 8 questions so if you get just 1 wrong you are down to a B. Tests are a whole other beast, you can study all you want but there will be questions that have you leaving "WTF".

for his mid term "you should take off from work" gives 24 hours for a weeks worth of work. for a online class this is ridiculous.

I never have any motivation to go to class, it is boring 99% of the time. homework is usually 2 questions from the end of the chapter that don't help anything. He isn't very clear, through his accent and the way he teaches. I couldn't even tell you what my grade is in this class.

Reading the other reviews, I was honestly dreading taking this professor, but he is not bad at all! He is very friendly and happy to be teaching and as long as you pay attention and do your homework, you will do fine. He is very fair in his grading, but expects you to work. He does have an accent, but you can easily understand him

Avoid taking this professor. He doesn't speak proper English,he has a heavy accent, and his journals are pointless. If you do HAVE to take him, DO NOT TAKE THE ONLINE COURSE. I thought that it would be like any other online course. But it isn't. He uses prerecorded videos and uses the previous edition textbook. And expects you to have that edition.

For people who are interested in taking him online i wouldn't recommed it because he won't reply to ur questions or let you know what grade you on your assignments. so you'll basically will be going through the class blind.

Doctor Pathan is a very hard teacher. You can't understand what he says so its not even worth listening to him. Also his quizzes and tests are very hard. His questions are all the same so its hard to even eliminate answers. Don't take him unless you want a low grade or to have to drop out!!!

Pathan is something else. This class and professor are challenging but it shows its a true college course. It requires countless hours of studying and reviewing the material, but as long as you do well on the final, do journals and hand in assignments you will be okay. Take ECO112 over 111 if possible, I found it easier. Very knowledge, tough class

Love economics...but dislike this professor. How is he still teaching and why are there no other economics professors?! Worst professor I've had. Rude, biased, not helpful, and hard to understand verbally and through email (doesn't proofread, makes a LOT of errors). Waste of money, take at another college if you can.

Great professor, hard to understand at first but you get used to it. Grades on huge curve, really just focus on the final and you can get at least a "B". He makes class fun with his cheesey jokes, but his accent is entertaining enough. He uses the book a lot and economics can be a difficult concept. Take ECO111 (macro/gvmt) before ECO112.

He reads a lot from the book, tests and quizes are hard since some of the multiple choice answers are very similar. Thick accent, call HP tech support a few times before attending this class so you can understand him better. Also, he incorporates some religious views when talking, a NO NO. BTW, this course is a lot to take in over the summer.

Hard to understand, thick accent, jokes around too much and though he uses the book, the study books he wrote himself and are not very useful for the course. Quizzes are easy while the test are very hard. Also teaches ECO 111 and 112 (only professor at the school to teach these courses.

Pathan is a good prof. he is hard to understand but he takes the time needed to make sure everyone understands. If you dont go to his office he will help you. Quizs are easy and the test you have to look over your notes but you will do fine. It will really help if you look at your study book before class then you will understand him better.

I took this course online over the summer. I would say that it would be better 2 take this during that time then in a regular class room because of his "heavy accent".He had weird ways of wanting things done. Homework had 2 b submitted through a regualer e-mail no attachments,no ?'s thru e-mail u have 2 call him. Fax graphs, & land mail journals
