i would not recommend this professor for math20c. although he makes everything seem easy, when it comes to either of the two midterms or final, it doesn't seem easy anymore. also, he works out the examples in the book, which you can do by yourself. the worst thing is, his exams has almost nothing to do with what he lectrures on in class.

most ppl didnt like him, but i think he was a good professor n i'm a pretty poor math student. yes he has an accent, but it was understandable n yes the examples came straight out of the book, but nevertheless i found lecture helpful. he's a he test are fair n do-able if you study hard.

His lecture not too helpful. I went to office hours with him once, didnt like it. To be successful, read book, go to discussions and learn the topic. his lectures are probably not very useful, as every example comes directly from book. Final was hard as expected.

This guy has the hardest final I have ever taken in my life. 10 problems in three hours and each problem takes like 20 minutes to an hour. The material itself contains things that he doesnt lecture on.

He's pretty hard to understand. The first 4 weeks of school he wore a navy blue sweater and black levis every day. Now he changes it up a bit, but he always wears navy blue! But I didn't like this prof, doesn't hold my attention, doesn't teach very well.

after getting used to his accent, he's a pretty funny and friendly guy who knows his stuff. he teaches well, especially compared to the math teacher i have now. lectures are organized & clear. midterms are OK, final is deadly. =X
