Comment:
Teaches and preaches like he's above everyone in the room without the teaching to back it up. Grades heavily according to favoritism or vice versa, extremely unfair with partial credit (some will get it for ridiculous things that actually don't deserve points). Degrades students with lectures on their work in front of the class.

Constantly degrades students. No one asks questions in our class anymore because they'll be criticized openly. Cannot teach subject matter and expects students to understand concepts brand new to them. Stayed after to ask for help with some problems and was yelled at for a good 15 minutes. Easily my worst professor in my 3 years at PSU York. Avoid.

Talks down to students constantly. Grades harshly and thinks the only way to get students to study is to knock off points for not doing a problem with his method. Wastes class time complaining about students work ethics. Don't expect a curve. Expects students to understand a problem without giving time to analyze the problem themselves. STAY AWAY.

Very willing to help outside of class. Make sure you attend almost every lecture, take good notes - as he over-explains everything, to make sure students understand. Study the chapter exercises, those are your key to the quizzes and study for the mid-terms. You can always email him if you have trouble.

I had him for Physics 1, 211, 212, 213, and 214. He is incredibly knowledgeable in his subject matter and very willing to help students outside of class. He is passionate about physics and about teaching physics, and his excitement about the subject matter makes the classes more fun and interesting, and therefore easier. Just do the homework.

Hasan is an excellent professor who takes the time to meet with his students one on one if they are willing to meet with him. He shows genuine concern for his students, and he has done so in my case. I have had Phys 211-214 and three sets of Phys 297 research with him. He is my personal research advisor as well, and he has taught me so much.

People complain because they don't study. Hasan is a wonderful teacher; he notes from the start that lecture is to be for abstract concepts, and that one must learn the easier topics on their own.

He is a nice person. He doesn't make many mistakes in class and he makes lectures interesting. His quizzes are pretty easy- only 10 questions. His final is somewhat hard. Attend every class and you'll be alright.

He is very nice, but he doesn't come across that way because of his accent. This course is relatively easy, but most of the students are not too bright and get lost easily. If you are having trouble, feel free to ask him or someone else for help and you will do fine.

You'll be o.k. if your algebra is strong. His lectures are a bit advanced, but he will keep you going towards a clear ending point! If you do the homework, the tests won't be too bad.

I've had this professor for 3 semesters now. I've never seen a professor make so many mistakes while teaching. The smart students in the class have to correct his dumb errors All he does in the class are proofs of physics equations, which are irrelevant.

He's teaching methods are in depth, but often to theoretical to be easily understood. He also seems unapproachable if you get stuck, but he is very willing to work with you outisde of class if you ask, don't be intimidated! He is also very demading...
