He was horrible. TOUGH MARKER in essays! If essays aren't your strong suit. DO NOT TAKE HIM, I had to drop the course because of him. He helped, but your writing can't get better over a short period of time, and he expected that.

this prof is horrible. he treats is at though it is a religous class and discusses poetry for over a month. he is the most dry prof i have ever had, even though he is young. he's a really tough marker!!! & he's not very nice.

AL is a literary genius, but certainly expects you to be well read. Refers to many stories/books no one has heard of. Some say he marks hard, but THATS BECAUSE HE TEACHES A FRICKIN LANGUAGE!! If you're in university and can't puncuate a sentence properly, don't point fingers.. Pull your socks up.

I initally had a grudge against the guy (mainly due to his age and greasy hair), but the guy, in a nutshell is awsome. I would recomend him to most anyone for introductory literature courses - he tries hard to make the classes fun, and loves discussion.

Great guy, but he expects us to have eaten dinner with all the authors and know every single thing they ever meant in their writings. Very deep, knows waaaay too much about every single story. Encourages class discussion which makes class tolerable.
