He's a smart guy that knows his stuff and he is extremely thorough; You will not slip anything past him and he is a TOUGH grader. You will have to work hard for a good grade and that's including the curve he gives in class (>90% A, >80% B+, etc). Like someone else mentioned, AVERAGE score on our final project was <70%. He's not bad overall.

Yener is a very cool man. He's pretty tough if you do not pay attention. Also, none of his answers are online. However, if you genuinely pay attention, it's not too bad and you will learn a lot about the reasons behind events. I.e. if you go to Canada, your USD will go further because of the exchange rate.

The assignments were fun and pertinent to class material, but his expectations were insane. The class average for the final project was a 67%, and it was quite difficult to know exactly what he was looking for. Wish he was more clear as to what he's looking for.

Great professor. The book is not needed. It would be very difficult to fail this class. The professor offers lots of extra credit. He is very knowledgeable and you learn a lot in this class.

Good class and very good teacher. The book isn't really needed. The power point slides contain plenty of information. My only complaint is that the class was only out of 100 points total. So if you have a bad test, it's hard to comeback.

Overall great teacher. Textbook isn't needed. The power point slides are filled with information. The only downfall of this class is that it's only worth 100 total points. Hard to make up points if you have a bad test.

The professor was very organized and knowledgeable. He provided valuable assignment feedback in a timely fashion while always making himself available outside of his office hours. He went above and beyond to help students understand the course material. Very professional professor.

Great professor! Yener is the man. I had him for 211 & 316. He is always helpful, responds to emails very quickly, and always makes time for you. Just follow the excel do****ents and you will be fine.

This class is extremely hard. I don't think that the professor makes a big difference. Although, he is hard to understand sometimes, the subject would be very difficult with any teacher. I had a lot of trouble with the class. I was just happy to pass and not have to take it again.

Yener is hard to understand and is very technical. His homework and exams are very difficult, but he is willing to help you on everything. He is from turkey and sometimes he doesnt clearly speak english.,... HARD ACCENT. GReat teacher though. IS dedicated in making the material a MUST KNOW!.. ITS a tough class.... I WISH THE BEST TO ANYONE!!!!

Statistics is a tough course with or without Dr. Kandogan. He utilized a customized textbook, powerpoints, blackboard, and recorded lectures on audio files. Was always available for questions. This guy is committed to a job well done. He is from Turkey, so he has a quick temper. But if he is wrong, he will be the first to apologize. Take his class!

Too hard of a class for a marketing elective. The final project takes you weeks, all day, everyday to finish. He seems like a good guy but i dont take classes based on profs personality. Avoid if you can.
