A truly inspirational professor. Has taught us so many valuable lessons that we will use for the rest of our lives. He makes it very clear what material will be included on the exams, but it goes beyond that. He has opened my eyes to the world around me like no professor has before. Not a bad looker, either. Coursepack is worthless (no worked examples, poor English), poor verbal skills, more worried about where you sit than what you learn. Needs a tutor 3x a week before class to teach for him because he can't. This should not be a difficult course, his lack of skill may make it one.

very confusing!! If you ask him a question and you don't reply with exactly what he's thinking then be prepared to look stupid. For those that are good at memorizing A LOT of info you'll do okay, if you struggle with memorizing text then rewrite or make your own notes otherwise you will struggle major with exams, FINAL IS NASTY BE PREPARED!!!!

Worst professor in pharmacy. DO NOT TAKE THIS ELECTIVE. requires you to visit in office, but has no time. Loves to hear himself belittle you. 10X worse that ceutics hands down. Drop this class immediately if you have it. You have to jump through hoops just to make his talk to you, and when he does he's flat out mean. Dakurri is not a good professor

This guy can't teach. I got A's and B's in the rest of my pharmacy courses and got a flat C with him. He is grumpy and the whole course is just memorizing his coursepack. The course pack is of no use in the real world and it's like memorizing a phone book. This course could be infinitely better.

I don't believe anything should be handed to you but this guy is a joke. Professors who cant use proper English in their writing should not teach. BEWARE, unless you are a spounge you will struggle. In all honesty I enjoyed the subject matter, but he made it harder than it needed to be.

Study, study, study.....and memorize EVERYTHING. The exams are killers, but if you memorize and utilize-you'll be okay. He passes most, so don't be in the bottom of the pond. He's rough on the outside, but kind once you get to know him. Tests are DIRECTLY from notes and practice problems; he doesn't even change the numbers. He won't answer questions without a fight. Don't bother going to check your test... he won't answer questions there either. He does a good job of making the material clear in class, however.

Study everything!!! When he says "don't memorize this", memorize it- there's a good chance he'll put it on the exam! Oh yea and do all of his practice sets, they're really helpful for the exams, especially the math problems......his class was a good nap time for me too!

Everyone was an A student before they got here. That's how they got into pharm school. Now to keep an A, you need to work even harder, and Dr Dakkuri makes sure you work for it. Still, his exams are right out of the notes! And we took most of this stuff in pre-pharm! And he is only gruff on the outside. Actually very helpful.

Loves to make you feel like an idiot if you ask a question. Hard to stay awake in lecture, especially when's he's just reading off his notes. He takes his time on the easy stuff and expects you to read over the hard stuff yourself and understand it. Study to memorize, especially equations.
