Terrible proffesor. Uses class as a platform to speak her own beliefs. Doesn't follow her own syllabus and prefers to ramble about whatever is the current media topic on MSNBC. Avoid any of her classes at all costs.

ONe of the best professors I have ever had. Since I took her course in the summer of 03 I have graduated and moved on to grad school yet I continue to be inspired by how she challenged us to think, to question, to grow. I am a better writer of papers, better at questioning & using sources and more equiped as a student after her class.

3rd World Conference facilitator and chairwomen:this Professors attack on America, capitalism, Pres. Bush were savage and un-relenting. She used her professional position to inculcate her personal ideology to a captive student audience. Very disturbing.

Prof. Fernandez was by far the best teacher I've ever had at GSU! Her passion for Latin American history comes thru in the class discussions and the lectures she gives. I would highly recommend this professor to all GSU students.
