Hes a hard grader but if you pay attention and follow his advice you will be fine. Overall he is great and funny and one of the best professors i have ever had.

At the beginning of this class I really didn't like professor Brault. Gave out a TON of homework and lengthy reading assignments, was super picky about annotations, etc. By the end I was so thankful I had him. My essays have never been better and I got numerous compliments from other professors on how good my essays were. Everybody should take him

Dr. Brault was a very tough grader and very opinionated. I felt like he tried to make people look stupid by asking them questions in the middle of lecture that they obviously didn't know the answer to. He graded heavily on his opinion, not on your grammar, etc. If he got done lecturing early he wouldn't let you leave. Lots of reading.

Professor Brault is the most caring professor I have ever had. I had to miss class for a mental health reason and he not only let me leave but he made sure I was okay when I came back to class. He is an amazing teacher with lots of knowledge and wisdom. His class is so interesting and I look forward to it every single day.

Dr. Brault's class was the hardest class I have ever taken, but I learned so much from him that even though it was hard I highly recommend it. He may seem like he is very specific and a hard grader but he really knew what he was doing and knows what it takes to write a good paper.

Rob Brault is a very tough grader. The first paper I got a C+ on it. However, I learned A LOT from his class. He gives you specifics that you NEED to follow to get a good grade. His method for writing papers and peer editing are a excellent way to do it and once you master it, you'll never write a bad paper again! Keep the 2 "writing books"he gives

One of the coolest professors I've ever had. He is so passionate and loves connecting everything together. There is a lot of reading but it is definitely worth it. He gives a lot of tips on note-taking and other important things. He has an afro and a huge beard and he builds his own canoes, just kind of a quirky guy who loves what he does.

He is a good teacher and loves his job. However, if you don't agree with him, good luck. I had to retake English because of this class and I tried very hard and attended every single class. He is a very tough grader and grades based on his opinion. If he doesn't agree with the subject, expect a bad grade.

Very enthusiastic about the subject. I learned a lot from the class. The readings were difficult to get through sometimes, and the quizzes could be pretty specific. Make sure you go to class, but I didn't think the grading was too difficult overall.

Dr. Brault is really intense, but he's a good professor. He didn't give any tests in this class, but there were 5 or 6 projects, one being a group paper. He also had us do daily posts. The projects were spaced out well at the beginning of the semester, but toward the end they were crammed one after another. Too much for a 200 level class.

Brault was honestly the best English professor I've ever had. You do alot of reading but its worth it. He's very inspirational and makes you want to do your best. He's good at explaining and very structured; easy to follow. You write three papers throughout the year and they gradually are worth more points. I definitely recommend taking his class!

There is a lot of readingnote taking but there are no tests, just three papers. He basically makes sure everything he teaches becomes second nature to you by the end of the course.
