she now teaches at nyu also ... she is VERY hard, i just got back my first semester grade ... after working really hard i got a B ... my advice is take someone else if you can ... the midterm and final are pretty hard and so is her grading on papers ... she gives a response paper every week (2-3 pages) ... all of the midterm come from class notes.

I had her for Seminar I. She listens to whatever you throw out there. She's fair and flexible. She grades harder than you'd think, but she always has her reasons. I reccommend her for seminar, but whatever comments she gives-follow through. You don't have to read every word for class, she does tell you what's significant. It's never a waste of time

All classes are lecture with a little bit of groupwork. Entire grade is 40% midterm, 40% final, 20% weekly repsonse papers. Exams are not easy. Is enthusiastic about material but so much pressure to do well on exams makes it hard to enjoy.

She is a very good professor. She is clear, interactive, and knows what she is talking about. Tests arent to hard, homework is never horrendously challenging, and whether you want to or not, you learn.Classes are often cancelled. Definitely a must take.

She amazing she is a wonderful prof. and a great advisor and she is so funny, while there is a lot of reading and she grades kinda hard it is an english class so i had no problem geting only a b in the class it was worth it i learned so much!!!
