If you can manage to stay awake in class then just read from the textbook, in which case you're better off staying home..difficult to understand and like I said, provides little to no benefit in attending class. You can get a good grade but avoid if possible!

This is a useless teacher that makes mistakes while teaching and refuses to correct the mistakes in the textbook answers and his slides. He is extremely monotone and has an accent that is difficult to understand. STAY AWAY!

His classes are very slow paced. Good if you need more time to digest the material. Midterm is ridiculously easy, but the Final made 52/120 fail. The tutor was very good! I recommend this prof to people that prefer slow paced classes (takes a LOT of time to explain everything). However this teacher is difficult out of class. Rarely replies to email

if you are a slow learner, take him as he explains everything in slow manner. which i found it to be advantagous for me as i could understand and take notes at the same time. in other comm courses like 308, you only have time to listen and you are on your own. my advise take him but dont forget to go to the sos. midterm is easy but final was killer

He speaks extremely slowly and makes POM even more boring than it already is. Just go to SOS tutoring, Marco can explain things more clearly in just a few hours than Shaafat could during an entire semester. If possible, take this class during the summer, if you want to avoid his extremely long assignments. Theres only a midterm and final.

This teacher is the worst teacher ever! teaches bad, useless, hardest and longest assignment ever for just a f***ing little 2% To do that assignment you must go to tutorial which take u 1 hour. His assignments are crazy and long. His explaination is confusing and misleading. Do NOT do his problems, they are there to confuse you rather than help you. He gives no feedbacks for exams nor email requests unless you post it on first class, then he has no choice. He is one of the worst teachers you should avoid.

I rarely complain about Profs... The textbook is useless. His explanations are far more complicated than they should be. Directives for assignments are unclear and he doesn't provide clarifications. Average number of pages for an assignment: 15! If you take this Prof, go to tutorials and plan to attend SOS! Bottom line: AVOID!

Teaches Comm 215 with powerpoints. I've always had 90s in all math classes i've taken and failed this class. Huge assignments. Classes are super boring. Avoid!
