Great professor. Just make sure you don't skip any of his classes and you'll do great. Some assignments require a lot of work but the teacher will appreciate it if you put effort into them. Highly recommended for this class (SCOM 372).

Prof Satir was a pretty good teacher considering the subject. COMM 225 is not an easy course. He does his best to try and make it interesting and prepared us pretty well for the midterm and final. If I was in SCOM, I would probably take him again. He can also be pretty funny, I liked him. Definitely the best teacher that teaches 225 at JMSB.

No matter what you ask him regarding the exam, he would blame on the course coordinator and delclare he knows nothing about it. practice problems from other secions are far more helpful than those from him. Satir is a very clear teacher. The course itself is also a lot of fun and Satir tries to make it as clear to you as he possibly can, GO TO CLASS, he doesn't take attendance but his classes very helpful. Outside class, however, he is not very helpful.

Boring teacher and classes aren't very interesting. Spends too much time on easy theory and rushes through important stuff. the solutions are complete and he is rude when you need help on HW problem. I had access to Prof. Sharma's solutions and notes and passed thanks to that. Assigned problems are very useful.

Mr. Satir is a good teacher. The course, itself is not that hard, however when you take during summer for the first time, it will be pretty overwhelming to learn all the material in a such short period. Solutions to problems are provided but not the WORK could sometimes really pissed. Midterm was straight forward as well as the final.
