I had Dr. G many years ago and she was my all time favorite prof. I love plants so I loved the subject. I was always enthralled with her classes. As another said, you learn without realizing it. But it did take work too. There is a lot of terminology in plant anatomy. She was always available and willing to help.

Tough exams- you'd better know your anatomy inside and out. She's super nice though and tells funny stories. She's always interested in the class and the ind. students. You learn w/o realizing it.

Not very many points offered. Three quizzes (are pretty easy) but the 2 lab tests are extremely hard. She also requires 5 lab reports worth only 1 point and a midterm (isn't bad) and a final.

Comment:

Plants are boring, so this class was boring. It wasn't very difficult but did require some studying. Labs are basically making slides, observing & sketching them. She does mention a lot of scientific names for plants but doesn't require you to know them by this. Always available to help.
