Great guy, very easygoing except about attendance! Participate and do the reading so you'll know what to say - he sometimes will put you on the spot. Grades pretty hard on papers, talk to him beforehand if possible and he will help with format and ideas.

AWESOME. Very funny and extremely helpful :-) He is not biased and he makes a point to show both sides of philosophies. HE IS NOT ****, or if he is, he does not let it show in class. He has invested interest in women becoming active philosophers.

Great guy, Easy going and is there to help you when you need it. He is kind of strict when it comes to attendance. Other than that an easy class. No homework, no tests, just a midterm paper and a final paper. Thats it! I would recomend this class to anyone.

Best class ever! This guy is a genious! it's an easy A too, sit in the front row and speak up because he likes the students that he gets to know! He's such a fun loving guy, so easy to talk to, HILARIOUS! and just an all around great guy. I took african philosophy to fulfill a World culture requirement and i'm so glad i took it with him, take it!!

I don't remember the class but it was the African Political Philosophy one. I can't imagine why anyone could call him **** and as far as bias goes everyone has biases, but his are far less fanatical than those of the women's studies professor who had the room before us and left nonsensical garbage on the chalkboard.
