Akram is very nice and engaging with the students. He is a bit lazy but just ask the TA if you have any questions. He is pretty chill and if you need an extension on your assignment he will definitely give it to you. Definitely one of the better profs in materials engineering.

Appeared to be a nice guy. But sometimes couldn't give answers to questions asked in the class (and he's really good at dodging them and knows how to be politically correct in everything he says). I certainly do agree with the comment that he knows more about shaking the hands of the right people than about engineering knowledge.
