Al was a very fun guy to have a professor, he is a tough grader, but if you show up and take notes you will do fine, the tests are pretty tough, but again study your notes and you will do fine, he is funny, makes jokes, you laugh at, even if you are the subject of the joke, he is a nice guy, expectations are very clear, do not show up late!

Dr. Rydant was an amazing professor. He was really excited about what he was teaching and made lots of jokes at the expense of classmates. The tests come straight from his notes-you almost don't need the textbook. He's a stickler. Not for people that don't want to try. I would definitely take him again even though I don't love geography.

I love this man. I thought this class was a joke during the first week, but as the semester progressed I quickly came to the realization that it required alot of work. Rydant really knows what he's talking about, and is a super cool guy.

Rydant is very interested in what he is teaching, and tries to get students to be interested as well. Classes are very hard because you must memorize every single note you have written down. Don't miss anything he is saying because he is sure to put it on the test. However, you will definitely learn a lot in his class.

Rydant is an amazing professor! His sarcastic, tongue-in-cheek humor can be corny but keeps you interested. All that being said, this class is VERY HARD. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE TEXT! He is a stickler for the rules and will not bend them period. Not recommended for 1st semester freshmen, those disinterested in cultural geography, or want an easy A.

Human Cultural Mosaic: My FAVORITE teacher this semester. Sarcastic, witty and funny. Very engaging and energetic. Has a lot of experience. He sticks to the rules, so don't expect ANY exceptions or special treatment, has been accused of being "unfair". No study guides, but you don't NEED them. Easy tests. Don't read your text- his notes are great!

Oh man..this was the worst class i've ever taken @ KSC The teacher is a meanie and his tests are VERY HARD! i missed 1 class b/c i had the flu and he wouldnt let me do the project. my friend missed 5 classes in a row and she was able todo the next project. hes unfair and cruel. he refuses to review for the tests and contradicts himself way too much

Seriously, Al helped me a lot when I asked for it, but his tests were harder than any test I have ever taken at KSC. He sometimes taught us one thing and then changed it on the test! You can work hard and know everything and still do awful. Never again.
