Comment:

One of the stars in UF faculty;owns from the moment go. The slides are absolutely crystal clear that eliminates the need for books. One pitfall of the course I attended is that he expects you to be knowledgeable about prior course;he doesn't care about fundamental doubts. Tests are standard and love the project once got to the feel of the subject.

great teacher. thorough, tries very hard to make lectures fun with animated slides, though the material's incredibly boring. kind and helpful. it's the material that's difficult, and homework. if you can take this over the summer, do so for the lightened work load.

Dr. Sahni's lections are very clear and his class notes/presentations are quite good. His tests have been very challenging but I would expect nothing less of a graduate level course. This is my first graduate course so it was like, "welcome to the real world!"

One of the best professors that I have ever had. Never missed a class!! His instruction was so clear, I could follow his class half asleep. Assignments are slightly challenging but very rewarding.

Book is awful. He should really consider using different colors in the book to differentiate the different parts of code. Plan on spending alot of time doing the homework. Lectures are monotonous & boring (unless u LOVE 2 stare at code).

Very smart man and he explains things well. He also writes beautiful code. His book, however, is terrible. The tests are hard but manageable. Homeworks are hard but cover almost everything that comes up on the tests so you will learn the material.

He's ok. As any programming student knows, you teach yourself w/ the TA's. The worst part of the class is that you spend approx 32 to 48 hrs doing hw every 2 weeks, total assign = 25% Tests are hard, all programming, no reading programs, each 25%!
