First of all he couldn't even explain what a newton was.. but he said he could explain what a fig newton was. (wow!!) Secondly, he ddidn't even know where the staircase was in the periodic table. He isn't too bright....wonder how he got tenured

I had splitty my freshmen year first semester..well I probably skipped half of the classes b/c I didn't understand him anyways,and because I couldn't get outta bed half the time. I did my homework, kinda studied for the tests, but managed to get a B+ only because he curves tests super super well. If you just want to get a good grade, take him.

He is a really funny guy, awesome to have as a lab instructor. His curve is remarkable, once this year, a 30/100 was a C-, another time a 68/100 was a B+. Splitty means well, he just is old and should be retired. If you do the readings/problems, you can B.S. your way to a B.

On only one test he gave someone a F. HE curves the tests and a 70% can be a A-. If you plan on advancing in chem don't take him but if you just want to get it done with take him. It made me decide not to take chem because i didn't learn enough.

He is such a nice guy and I do think he knows chemistry. If you are good at chemistry don't take him because you will fall asleep in class and get mad when he curves your 95% to an A and a 60% to a B.

Nice guy, too bad he knows nothing about chemistry and readily says so. You will learn nothing in this class beyond what you get from the book. If you plan on going on in Chemistry don't take him at all costs because you'll will have a lot of trouble in Organic II. Seriously this guy is bad.
