His lectures are confused and the homework are extremely hard. No way for you to study becuase the TA and professor are not helpful. I went to the study guide and it is extremely useless. Nothing on the study guide showed on the actual exam. Not practice exam so you have to know study very hard inorder to pass this class.

there are only 3 test(2 midterms and a final), they are hard but if you study you will pass, homework is 20% of your grade so do it, it takes a long time and it hard but go to office hours or join a study group to get some help, teacher is nice, gets confusing but ask questions and he will clarify

An easy class if you put the time in and try. There many office hours all week long at different times so you should at least be able to make a few of them if you need help. You need the book, homework is assigned out of it and it helps to read to clarify the lectures.

Professor is a good guy, tries to incorporate things that are interesting or apply to real life in the lecture, has some funny clips sometimes, dosent take attendance but lectures are important to attend or youll be confused. Office hours are held all week but typically when most people have classes so they are hard to make.

Teacher is really nice and friendly. Overall the class is hard and things can be unclear at times, but if you read the book and actually show up to class it will be fine. TA's are nice but hard graders at the same time. If you put effort in youll do fine in the class.

This is the worst class I ever took. The professor is so unclear in his explaining. The homework took 9-10 hours to finish and you never gonna get high score on that because of his hard grading TA. Do not recommend!!for those who really enjoyed Chemistry.

This class and professor is where hope goes to die. The TA made it even worse. Hard gradng with little partial credit. Homework assignments that take 9+ hours each week (when is the time to study?) Takes an interesting subject and makes it confusing. Without Amineh as the TA (and her discrepancy in grading b/w students) it may have been tolerable.

I will update once the course is over. This professor is awful. His explanations are unclear. The homework sets take 9-15hours each (for a 3 units). I LOVED inorganic chem before this class. If an elective for you don't take it! Do 124B with Olmstead instead. Hard midterm. Not helpful. Poorly timed office hour. Hard grading - tiny partial credit.

This class really wasn't that hard, the concepts were very clear, and most of the exam questions fit the material covered in the book and in class. He was also willing to curve when the questions didn't fit.

Unless you really REALLY love chemistry, don't take this class. This class is so much harder than a regular 2B class. I got a B-, and was able to take a 2B practice final in 15 minutes, to give you a perspective. Jay Stork is an EVIL TA.

Hard, gives homework every week. Enjoys putting up practice midterms with no answers. Teaches directly out of the book, but requires people to go to class by assigning homework problems every day.
