He seemed nice enough at first, but the man had no business lecturing for an hour and a half. even on good nights of sleep i feel asleep. he was not helpful, and gave us an impossible final: 3 four page papers due during finals week!! thank god he retired.

Dr. Gittis is one of the best professors i have had at Westminster college. He is always willing to help out students, and does not mind if you drop in to his office unannounced. If you exhibit interest in his area of expertise he will go above and beyond what is required,and help you in and out of the classroom

I really enjoyed Dr. Gittis' class. He's a great professor and does a good job explaining the material. His class can be somewhat unorganized at times but he will help you if you ask. I recommend taking one of his courses.
