Comment:

One of the worst teachers I have ever had! Has no clue about human nature which I thought was a must when talking about lit. Extremely patronizing. No matter what anyone says he replies, "Yes, i think you're right..." and then proceeds to tell you why you're wrong. Marks you off for the most ridiculous things. Terrible teacher!!

I had have Mr. Pope for two classes English 1101 and 1150. He is a great teacher who really loves to interact with the class and discuss readings and poems. He is extremely helpful and very nice. I would suggest him for any english class!

He is a very nice and understanding teacher. You generally won't get out early, usually on time or a few minutes later but never more than 5 minutes. I hated english but I really enjoyed his class! I highly suggest pope!

He is a nice man, but likes to keep you after class, you will never get out early. He is very passionate about literature and loves to drone on. The class is simple readings, a midterm and final, and two small papers. attendance is only taken a few times thoughout the term, and he is big on critical thinking in class disscussions and on papers.

Instructor seem a little unorganized. Goes back and forth on subjects and doesn't get to his point until the last minute of class. If you have time to stay after class take him, he usually keeps you after class is over. Speaks thru most of the class. Do not recommend taking him early in the morning

Nice, compassionate, helpful but can be extremely arrogant. He likes to find the most pessimistic person and get a rise out of him. other than that he loves to teach. If you can hang in there he's alright. sometimes funny it depends on your personality.

HE is so awesome and the class seems to end too quick; I enjoy it that much. You'll spend more time learning English, and less time worrying about your grade. He is a bit argumentative, but not mean. If you don't like you opinions questioned, watch out. Otherwise he's the best. Very fair evaluations.
