Learned more from the book. Great guy, really wants to help. Really smart too. I just didnt like the way he lectured. Made things very confusing. Tests were SUPER HARD too! I think over half the class dropped.

Not your traditional class. Most of the class you will have to teach yourself thru your textbook/POGIL/Recitation/or what have you. While he does do lectures every now and then he mostly goes on tangents that amount to jack squat on exams. Leaving you ultimately confused as to your grade

Dr. Rosan means well, but ask him a question during one of his lectures and he'll go on a huge tangent, leaving you confused. He really wants the students to understand organic chemistry, but with the school's stupid POGIL groups it makes it harder on him. If you have him, go through the textbook and go to his office hours.

Rosan always says that organic chemistry is organized...his teaching style makes that seem a little hard to believe, but if you ask him for help he will give you as much time as you need to understand the material. Definitely take advantage of that.

dr. rosan is an amazing teacher (possibly my favorite) and a great guy. he's very helpful after class, although he seems a little disorganized in class. we never really covered everything we needed to cover. in spite of this, he's always willing to spend time explaining things to people. he's also a great lab teacher. highly recommend him.

Professor Rosan teaches chemistry better than anyone else that I have had. He always makes his best effort to ensure that the class understands the matierial before moving on. His priorities are always in the class's best interest. He is an extremely intelligent man, who is eager to share his knowledge with whoever gives him the opportunity.

He was quite disorganized, but his disorganization comes from a desire to teach his students all the he loves about organic chem, and so it is pretty easy to deal with. After class, he is extremely helpful and will sit with you until you understand everything. He's a FAIR and understanding man who makes this terribly EVIL subject much better!

As much he may confuse some people, the man really know his stuff and is willing to help you out if you're lost. I had him for two very hard classes and because of him I can understand them and know what I'm talking about. Yeah, Orgo is hard, but having Dr.Rosan definitely helped.
