Comment:

Al Wasco was a tough instructor at Tri-C. He's incredibly passive-aggressive, his teaching styles help weed out the ones with the least potential, and he grades where one student would get the A while everyone else gets Bs, Cs and so on. It's understandable since it's a real-world rating system, but some students depend on those grades for grants.

Horrible professor. Avoid if you can. Changes rules and project requirements without informing students. Incredibly vague and unprofessional. Awful communicator. On top of that he is a very harsh grader.

Comment:

Challenging and thought provoking. He really makes you think about design and he is a big fan of the design process. He is traditionalist in the way that he approaches his classes always brainstorming and coming up with ideas within a group. Aside from that he makes the classes a lot of fun and makes us want to strive for more showing his students different ways to look at design. Wasco also makes for one awesome portfolio professor and is a very valuable contact to have! Take a class with him !!! =)

Awesome instructor, very helpful, very enthusiastic. Many do not like because he makes people push their limits and boundaries. Recommended.
