Mrs. Wernicke is an amazingly talented educator. Her poetry class has been the best class I have ever taken. I never want it to end! If you love writing poetry, even if you are really shy about sharing your poems, you will love this class.

Excellent teacher and amazing person! two grammer tests, few quizzes, and essays are biggest part of grade other than final! as long as you get to class for quizzes and put forth best effort in essays its an easy A!

Very nice and very helpful. There is a lot of reading, but it IS a Lit class... Her tests are very simple if you just pay attention in class. Make sure you read the stories. I got an "A" but there is no way you can't make at least a "B" in her class. She is always willing to help and to go over things again. I loved her class.

The first few weeks are difficult only because I didnt know how much work was given, but once you get in the flow of things, it's probably the best class ever! GREAT TEACHER!!! very easy, and makes you have an appreciation for literature. TAKE HER!!!

She is the most understanding teacher I've come across. Her tests are simple questions- however, I would be lying to say the class was a breeze. You do read a lot, and have a lot of homework. But she grades easy- so it helps buffer your grade out. Show up to class and listen- you should have no problem passing her tests that way! I recommand her...

Mrs. Wernicke told our class that she used to be a nun. You couldn't tell though. She is funny, and thought-inspiring. She assigns a reading or two for homework, and when you return to class, discuss it until you get it. Fun class and fun teacher.

Mrs. Wernicke is always very encouraging and positive...even if you're dead wrong she makes you feel as if you got something right. She ensures that her students know the readings-even if they did not read-by reading almost everything in class. The class is not challenging if you already know how to write in MLA format and can think critically.
