One of the best professors I've taken. He really cares about the students if you miss an assignment or test he'll give you plenty of time to make it up even on the last day also if one of the assignments you did wasn't so did he'll let you redo it for a better grade. Highly recommend this professor

He knows his stuff but he really wasn't that great at teaching it or explaining it. Weighs everything on ridiculously cumilative tests. Doesn't go over material and expects you to know it. A very hard grader as well. Save your GPA & avoid this guy at all costs.

One of the worst teachers I've had ever. He's a decent person, but his teaching leaves much to be desired. Set in his ways and unclear in his methods. Doesn't explain how he grades and what he expects. Avoid him to save yourself the frustrations.

Horrible! Sometimes I didn't understand what the hell he was saying. I'd prefer a 400 level course over his course any day. He's horrible with grading and doesn't make class interesting at all.

I enjoyed the class and he was probably the best prof i ever had. even though there is a lot of reading( he tells u what to focus on) there are no papers and the tests are super easy IF you did the reading. I also found him to be very understanding and helpful. Take him and don't get scared by the syllabus on the first day

Professor Alford is a nice guy. He is also very knowledgeable in his field. He WILL help you if you are having problems. He teaches his class like a College Professor, not a high school teacher. Expect to work, but expect to get a lot of this class too.

I think people are being hard on this professor. Gives alot of work during the semester but there was no 5 or 6 pages paper which was nice. My only complaint was a group project but if you get a good partner the assignment is easy. He does give pop quizzes but just read the text and you'll do fine. I'd take him again.

He was unorganized and yet lectured us about being organized. His lectures go off topic all the time. He's a fair/easy grader but I don't feel like I learned anything. His lectures are read from the txtbook.. I can have my little sister read to me outloud at home.
