An excellent professor that definitely knows a lot about what he's teaching. His teaching style goes like this: he introduces the theories, equations, etc and then follows up with a few examples that implements what he taught. If you follow what he teaches in class, the tests and homeworks can be completed with relative ease. Just take notes

actually very rode teacher, he does not listen to his students. he is a well educated individual but he does not now how to deliver the information. and that is why he gives you questions close to his tests because he does not know how to teach.

basically just rewrites the textbook on the board. not very helpful when you go for homework help. He tends to make rude comments to students such as suggesting they go back to grammar school to relearn math. He does not relate well to his students at all. though at least he is an easy grader.

Dr. Levin is a great teacher! He is extremely talented when it comes to explaining difficult concepts (a rare trait) and he takes the time to answer all questions. His class requires a good amount of studying, but he assigns helpful homework problems and we always go over homework at the beginning of class.Take his class if you get the chance!

Dr. Levin is a great teacher. I took his Calc 3 course this summer and he explained everything well, and was able to answer all questions. He made the students feel comfortable in the class, and all questions were answered. I would highly recommend taking one of his courses.

He is hard. Does not bring himeself to students level. Reviews the test the day before, but then the day of the test--its different. Laughs at his own bad jokes and tells students they need to go back to grammar school to learn math. Has a crazy easy grading scale (62=C-) etc, but expect to get 40s and 50s on the exams.

he lectures as if he's talking to other mathematicians, not very good at bringing himself down to the level of the class. He never collects homework and goes over the test the class before, overall he's pretty easy, I'd recommend him.

Prof. gives you the types of questions that will be on the test the class before...he will curve a test if everyone does badly, test questions range from 3-5...really simple. Homework assigned but does not collect it...very kind, old man

I took Prob/Stat with Levin. He's the man. I'm pretty good at math, so I was probably wasted talent in his class, but he's still a really great prof. He doesn't grade students hard, gives partial credit, & curves scores like no other. No surprises- he gives full, problem-by-problem reviews prior to exams and drops the lowest scores. TAKE HIM!!!

Good teacher, good clarity. Solves typical problems in class. Tests are very long and messy, but he gave a lot of extra credit even after telling the class exactly what was going to be on the test the day before. Anyone who understands the material should have no problems. He'l answer any ? 1-on-1 in o. hrs. The take home tests are a **** though.

This guy is the best! I am a politics major and I am honestly horrible at math. He made it so easy to understand. His grading is really easy too. Math in the Modern World with Levin people. Take it.

This guy is great! He is cool, funny and easy. The material might be a little hard to get sometimes, but he makes it easy and always will explain. His tests are pretty easy, he tells you what will be on them number for number the day before. Grading wise he's the best. TAKE HIM!
