Dr G is a wonderful professor. Respect him & appreciate his experience & you'll leave his classes w/ great admiration for his dedication to teaching & consider him a great mentor. I know I do. Some say he is 'mean' &'strict'-That translates to holding students accountable. If you feel pushed in his class then he sees potential in you. Embrace that

Gotliffe really knows what he is talking about and definitely tries to help his students. He gives out a lot of meaningless assignments but they're super easy anyway and worth like 1 pt. He doesn't give too much feedback on article assignments, but he definitely wants his students to succeed. He tends to talk about himself a lot and repeat stories.

don't let the harsh exterior scare you. so long as you pay attention and try hard, you'll get along well with him. he might get angry and yell or mention the same thing over again but he knows what he's doing and is really a nice guy, esp to mag staff.
