Amazing professor. Have heard many good things about him from others. Shame that most students wouldn't be able to fully appreciate his style of teaching. Makes you think and opens your eyes to not only classics, but the whole world and what it is made of.

Geier Is AWESOME! Really nice guy. I took his intro greek class as a potential for my cluster and his classes has definitely been some of my favorites. His classes are what you think college classes should be like...before you actually start college

The living reincarnation of Socrates minus the annoying factor. If you really want to learn the philosophy of the Ancients, you go to this man and avoid the philosophy dept. He might seem unclear, but the more you read Plato, the more you see Geier's quality in teaching. He is a living treasure and a fortune to those who connect with the readings.

Very interesting professor- loves the material and makes you appreciate it because of that. He isn't your conventional teacher when it comes to grading- he wants you to learn. He also wants you to succeed, so he grades in your favor. Discussion based- speak up in class.

He seems like a space cadet, but he's a good thinker. Do your homeworks during class. You don't need to take notes to do well. His grading is sketch, but there are no complaints about it from me.

Oh man, such a beautiful human being. If you're at all a student (in the ideal sense) and you're interested in the material, you should have no trouble at all. He's very discussion oritented, very intelligent, and occaisionally it goes above you, but if you act at all interested he will help you as much as he can.

He's all about class participation; his grading policy is one huge gray area, but in your favor. He loves nothing more than when you show interest by asking to meet with him right before essays are due. He's a very optimistic grader, looking for all your good points, more than criticizing the bad parts of your essays. He's awesome.
