Dr. Gini is the funniest and most clever man I have ever met. His class consists of him lecturing and only having quotes in his powerpoints. No exams, 3 papers. A lot of people in my class complain about how he was a tough grader, but honestly, incorporate his quotes in the paper and you'll get an A

This class is completely worthless. It is a series of useless quotes that he wants you to incorporate into your 3 essay tests. If you want help, then good luck. He tries to be funny by making joke about his wife and doing drugs, but he is anything but funny. I don't recommend taking this class.

Funniest professor I have ever taken. He reminds me of a real gentlemen, he is patient, funny, interesting, and knows that a lot of students consider this class as (mandatory) blow off for business degrees and he makes sure you leave with some knowledge of the subject. Highly recommend taking him!

Very nice person and his lectures are very interesting to listen to but when it comes to grading....watch out. He is a hard grader and will mark you down if you don't explain everything he asks for.

Listening to this actor pontificate for three hours a week was as eye-roll-inducing as a soap opera. What "Professor" Gini actually teaches besides how to write down bunches of quotes from actual great men is beyond me. Your best chance at receiving an A is have two X chromosomes, so good luck to the unfortunate XYs who enroll in his course.

If you legitimately go to class, write down his quotes (that usually students find useless), then make an outline of the essay tests (which he GIVES you beforehand), you will do just fine. I got an A in the class. Incredibly helpful and charming man. Love you, Gini!

He is a nice guy and all, but his lectures are pretty much useless. All they are is a bunch of quotes and comic strips. Not very hard to do well on the tests because he gives you the question the class before the test. Basically, if you just show up the day before the test and get the test question and you will be fine.

Exams are in Essay forms, if you want a good grade, you need much details and read the book. The lecture is interesting and he gives plenty of jokes, keeping you awake (otherwise he would tease you nevertheless). For finals, he gave take home essays--two of them. It will be very tempting to skip reading the book, but actually very helpful.

Really fun class! Gini has a great sense of humor. The material is interesting, but pretty redundant (what else do you expect from philosophy). You are almost guaranteed to get a B. If you WANT AN A, DON'T TAKE this class. It's basically impossible to get one.

Very nice teacher. Keeps you awake during class. Lectures --> if you take notes you'll be fine. Not a lot of reading (mostly business cases). Grade is determined by 4 Essays ...3 Tests...2 one hour essays on final exam. Self explanatory. Know the question before the test. No reason to not be prepared! I highly recommend this teacher!

Very entertaining lectures and an overall nice guy. But don't get cocky...make sure you are well prepared for his essay exams because the TA is not an easy grader! Go to class (attendance is taken) and contact Gini if you feel your grade is unfair, and you should be fine. Definitely a nice class to wake up to!

One of my accounting profs put it best "who knows what gini teaches." The only thing we actually learned was Kant but not very well like in other ethics classes i've had. The class is majority quotes and 3 exams decide your grade. TA sucks at grading so good luck.
