i had Dr. Falls for western civ a couple of years ago. he was the best professor i've ever had. very funny, his slides have a ton of pics that he took himself. this was my favorite college class.

He's by far the best College history teacher I've had, and I'm a history major. Funny, extremely helpful, biting wit, and very knowledgeable. Overall great dude. Though he's retired, he still is teaching summer courses, so catch him while you can!

Stud. Fantastic teacher, by far my favorite teacher and class thus far. I thought Western Civ would be boring, but he makes it fun. Hilarious, talks about movies, makes fun of Raytown, great teacher.

He is an excellent teacher! I have taken 3 of his classes, and have loved them all. You have to attend class, but his lectures are very clear and you will learn alot. He is very fair in his grading.

Falls is ridiculously animated and loves what he does. Hes been teaching for 43 years now and is about to retire. He doesn't tolerate people not paying attention to him or not doing the readings he assigns. He is not afraid to curse. His tests are to basically regurgitate what he teaches without a whole lot of critical thinking about the subject.

Dr. Falls may very well be my most favorite teacher. He has a great sense of humor and loves to talk. This makes his lectures actually quite enjoyable. He is always making quirky jokes making the environment really comfortable to learn in. He is willing to help if you are willing to ask.

Dr. Falls is quite animated in class, sometimes so much so that you wonder whether he does it just to keep bleary-eyed students awake! Very funny and very willing to meet with students outside class to help them. But don't pass notes in class or talk to the person next to you for more than a few seconds, as he'll be quick to see it. A great prof.
